 THURSDAY PLUM CHECK LIST KENTON 2019- To the Pointe

DATES

  • 23rd May. Costumes handed out. 
  • 31st May. Don't forget to book lots of tickets.https://kentontheatre.co.uk/event/to-the-pointe/ 
  • 6th June. All costumes should be washed and adjusted/sewn to fit your child. 
  • 13th June. Photo week and dress rehearsal in class. 
  • 30th June. Kenton show 15:30 
  • 11th July. Costumes handed back in clean, washed and folded.
  • End of term 12th July. 

GETTING READY

HAIR:

MAKEUP:

  • Should make your child feel special. Mascara, eyeshadow, blush and lipstick to give them features on stage. Amount is up to Mums/Dadas. Please do try any products before the show day.   We have given an example on little people here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAkH4SuZXPg

COSTUME: BALLET - SWAN LAKE

  • Pink Ballet tights
  • Pink ballet shoes (elastics sewn on)
  • White and gold tutu (no wings)
  • Spare hair grips, clips, makeup and hairspray please. 

 COSTUME: MODERN - SHINE

  • Pink Ballet tights
  • Pink ballet shoes (elastics sewn on)
  • Purple or Silver Metallic dress

COSTUME: TAP - SINGING IN THE RAIN

  • Silver sparkle leggings
  • Plum leotard
  • Rain coats from home
  • Rain hat/scarves/gloves optional from home.
  • Black socks. 

SHOW 30th JUNE KENTON THEATRE (run time 90min) 

  • Arrive 14:45  in leggins and zip jacket/top with hair and makeup done.
  • Curtains up 15:30
  • Children dance all dances spread between the first and second half. 

Only chaperones allowed backstage. If you can chaperone any show all help is much appreciated and needed. 

AFTER THE SHOW

  • Tag Performanze in any photos and feedback from the show. We love to see photos and feedback. 
  • Please don't forget to handwash your costumes and hand back to your teacher by the 11th July.
